🚀 Quick Start Guide

Follow these steps to get the SlingshotSquad Template running in just a few minutes.

✅ Requirements

  • Unity (2022 LTS or newer)(Preferably Unity 6+)

  • Universal Render Pipeline (URP) enabled

Step 1 – Create a New URP Project

  1. Open the Unity Hub.

  2. Click New Project.

  3. Select the 2D (URP) template.

  4. Choose a project name and location.

  5. Click Create Project.

Step 2 – Install the SlingshotSquad Template

  1. Download the .unitypackage file from the Unity Asset Store.

  2. Install.

Step 3 – Test the Game

  1. In the Project window, open the scene:

  2. Press Play in the Unity Editor.

  3. Test the full gameplay loop, including:

    • Slingshot launch

    • Obstacles & physics interactions

    • Boosters & accessories

    • Audio, loading, and localization

🧩 Optional Next Steps

  • Try editing the Demo Levels inside Assets/SlingshotSquad/Res/Scenes.

  • Add new characters or accessories in Assets/SlingshotSquad/Res/GameData.

  • Configure the Language Manager to add more translations.
